Description

Carnelian ‘Bunch of Grape’ Earrings set in .925 Sterling Silver

This pair of Carnelian ‘Bunch of Grape’ earrings is simply stunning. They have lovely clusters of gorgeous bright orange Carnelian cabochons. These are all individually bezel set in 925 Sterling Silver.

Carnelian is a translucent, orange, semi-precious stone. The soothing nature of this autumnal pastel shade is quite superb, and also very calming. It is easy to overlook this stone with its gorgeous colour being one of the more unusual semi-precious stones. It is classified as a silica mineral, and it is also a form of chalcedony. The ‘rusty’ orange colouring is due to the presence of iron oxide during the formation of the mineral. As with other forms of chalcedony its use in carvings and jewellery goes back thousands of years. The Romans discovered that hot wax didn’t adhere to it, this made it invaluable for imprinting seal rings.

Metaphysically, a stone that can attract prosperity and good luck. It is a stabilising stone, and is also excellent for restoring vitality and motivation. Carnelian is a stone that can stimulate creativity, and sharpen concentration and also invigorate the mind and body. This is a stone that can calm anger, dispel mental lethargy, replacing them with love and also deep fulfilment.

We supply these Carnelian bunch of grape earrings in an attractive gift box, the ones shown here in the photograph are the ones we send you.
