Freeform Shapes
Freeform Shapes
Freeform Shapes by their very definition are random. Crystals and minerals, when they ‘come out the ground’ are going to be in all shapes and sizes. Thats the beauty of natural objects. Then it is all down to the cutter in the workshop to transform a ‘random rock’ into a freeform shape. By skilful cutting and polishing that ‘random rock’ is transformed into something both eye-catching and tactile. It is basically a piece of nature transformed into a piece of natural sculpture. Freeform Shapes are perfect for mineral collectors and interior designers alike. Additionally, they are meant to be touched, to be held, the very randomness of them makes them so tactile. The intricate colours and patterns found in natural semi-precious stones and minerals are a treat to the eye. But they need to be touched as well!
