This gorgeous Lemon Topaz, Freshwater Pearl & Smoky Quartz Pendant has a 925 Sterling Silver setting. The setting has been handmade to fit these three beautiful stones and is a one-off ‘designer’ piece of jewellery. The stunning hand cut Lemon Topaz is huge, and the shape is the classic ‘pear’ cut. The stone is beautifully cut with delightful facets that catch the light and make this pendant really ‘eye catching’.
Lemon Topaz The majority of Lemon Topaz come from Brazil, Mexico and the USA. Topaz is a silicate mineral and contains both aluminium and fluoride. Topaz is one of the worlds hardest gemstones, at 8 on the Mohs hardness scale. Smoky Quartz is a transparent quartz stone, its colour can be anything from a subtle brown or grey, to almost black. This is a crystal with a long association with the Celts, and also the Druids who regard Smoky Quartz as sacred. Freshwater Pearls are pearls that have come from freshwater mussels and not saltwater mussels. They come in a variety of colours and shapes, its these irregular shapes that give them their name ‘Baroque Pearls’.
