Rutilated Quartz is a variety of quartz that contains thin ‘needle’ like (acicular) inclusions of rutile. Also known as ‘Venus Hair Stone’ these inclusions can be golden, silver, copper red and black. Sometimes these inclusions are all pointing in the sam direction or they can be completely random.
Metaphysically, this stone can clear emotional wounds for a spiritual awakening. Rutilated Quartz has a strong protective energy and spiritual healers use it as an antidepressent . This is a powerful stone and one used extensively for crystal healing, shamanic rituals and also meditation.
