Garnet ‘Daisy’ Pendant set in 925 Sterling Silver January birthstone
A gorgeous Garnet, Sterling Silver pendant, with superb silver-work in the shape of a daisy. There is a bright red Garnet cabochon in the centre, and there is also a 925 silver hallmark on the back. These are Indian Garnets, a country that produces stones with the most intense colours. Garnets, which are the January birthstone can found in a range of different colours. They can be anything from red and pink to green, and also yellow and black. The Pyrope and Spessartite are the most famous varieties. Their history goes back thousands of years, they have been highly sought after historically, by ancient Egyptians and Romans.
