This large Golden Amber Pendant in a tear-drop shape with a Sterling Silver setting. This golden yellow amber has wonderful clarity and almost ‘glows with warmth’. In addition it has an especially stunning array of light catching inclusions.
Amber isn’t a stone, but fossilised tree resin, or sap, this is in the region of 50 million years old. This Amber with superb natural inclusions has come from Poland. This area of Northern Europe, in the Baltic region produces the worlds finest quality material. Amber can occur in various colours, from pale honey colour, though various shades to golden brown and even red, green and blue. Amber isn’t cold, it has a warmness about it when it touches the skin, and because it is fossilised tree resin or sap it is surprisingly light.
Metaphysically, Amber is a purifier, and associations with the star sign Cancer. Amber brings positive energy, and can cleanse and purify negative energy.
