This is lovely sterling silver Black Onyx ‘Cross’ Pendant, a simple design but none the less stunning. On the back of the pendant there is the 925 hallmark.
Black Onyx, like agate, is also a very hard stone, a form of the silicate mineral, Chalcedony. Onyx gets its name from the Greek word onux.
