This superb faceted Garnet Bracelet is set in .925 Sterling Silver. This is a lovely hallmarked bracelet that contains 38 beautiful hand cut stones. The length is between 18cm and 19.7cm long (depending on link clipped onto) and should fit most wrists. The beautiful hand cut garnets are a gorgeous deep red colour. These are Indian Garnets, a country that is famous for producing stones with the most intense colours.
Garnets are semi-precious stones, but they are not a single type of mineral. Instead they are from a group of several closely related silicate minerals. The actual name ‘Garnet’ derives from ‘gernet‘. This was the word in use during medieval times to describe the dark red colour.
