Rutilated Quartz is a variety of quartz that contains thin ‘needle’ like (acicular) inclusions of rutile (titanium Dioxide). Also known as ‘Venus Hair Stone’ these inclusions can be black, golden, silver, copper red and copper red. Sometimes these inclusions are all pointing in the sam direction or they can be completely random.
